Today was the best day of Grade 2 so far!

Highlights from what we learned today:

• We continued working on our art piece to show you next week (Zaeem)  We learned how to cut close to the edge of an image.
• We've now all gone to the library to get interest and just-right books for us to read in the classroom (Drayden)
• We had a conversation about fire drills because tomorrow we're having a practice one. (Jaxon) It was the best first fire drill practice that Mrs. Seymour has ever seen in her whole teaching career (Maddox). We know we're going to ROCK it tomorrow!
• We learned some new note patterns in music (Anna)
• We used a picture and wrote a story to go with it (Chasity)
• We learned more about magnets in science! (Marek) The rule for magnets is that opposites attract and the same poles repel.

Mrs. Cose and Mrs. Seymour are so thankful for our wonderful class.
