VIPs in action today:
The students were buzzing today as we had our third indoor day in a row. Tomorrow morning is forecasting -22 but we're hopeful for warmer temperatures next week!
Highlights from today:
- in math we got to ask questions to students in our classes and collect data about them using tally marks
- we talked some more about mounties - tomorrow will be the last day that we get to use the kit from Fort Calgary
- we worked on finishing some of our prairie line art
- we played a science/social studies vocabulary BINGO game
Reminders:
- We are seeking donations for Warm Feet for the Street- Fun Lunch orders can be made online through Healthy Hunger
- Materials for building are needed. Please send in empty plastic bottles and styrofoam
- If you haven't sent in $2.00 for the Mountie Kit please do so ASAP
- Scholastic orders for December are due next Thursday, December 5th, in order to get them in time for Christmas (if you'd like to order secretly/online, we're happy to keep them a secret for you until conferences :) Just let us know in an email that you'd like us not to send them home with your child)
