Grade 1 Celebration of Learning

Congratulations to the Grade 1s on a wonderful Celebration of Learning dress rehearsal this afternoon. We were thrilled to watch their practice for tonight... we know they'll do an amazing job in front of their parents!

Highlights from today:

• we finished up some math problems that we'd been working on (Myles)
• we learned about the music and dance culture in Northern Canada (Chasity)
• we had a bonus music class where got to share our drumming song with Mrs. Cose's class (Mila)
• my favourite part of the Grade 1 celebration was the singing (Corbin)
• we continued working on using number lines to help us add (Myles)
• in Phys. Ed we played Gotta Catch 'Em All (Chasity)
• we practiced mental math using subtraction (Sawyer)
