We celebrated Mila's birthday today - we hope you have a wonderful birthday this weekend! We look forward to celebrating Anna's birthday on Tuesday.
We started our day with some writing about what we are THANKFUL about. Parents you should know how much your kiddos appreciate you and all that you do for your families :)
Some of the kids had a chance to go back and edit their writing by using coloured highlighters to indicate when they see something that needs work. Yellow is for words/spelling/backwards letters, Green is for capitals at the beginning of sentences and Pink is for punctuation. Students got to share their work with their class.
In math we worked on a new word problem and tried to use pictures, numbers and words to show our thinking.
We played a fun game with our classes called "Password". We had to give a word clue to the person in the Hot Seat so they could try guessing what the mystery picture was. This game is a fun way for us to build descriptive vocabulary and will help us next week as we move into a descriptive writing focus.
This afternoon we all had a chance to log into the computers, unfortunately time ran out before we could do much on them so that is something to look forward to next week!
We also had PE and Music today!
