Last week we sent an email to Mr. Murphy to ask him about his job and this afternoon he came in for a visit with our class! We had a chance to learn what he does as a Principal. Here are some things we learned:
- The most important part of his job is keeping us safe. (Corbin)
- His job is a lot of fun because sometimes he gets to see kids outside of school. (Aaron)
- He emails our parents if they have questionsa bout eht school. (Sayeh)
- He contacts parents if there is a problem with their kids at school. (Jaxon)
- He coaches lacrosse and hockey after school. (Drayden)
Other highlights:
- In Music we played with the spoons and made patterns. (Drew)
- In math we did a coin problem and then we played a new game with a numberline. (Sayeh)
- We read a new book at read aloud called, Beware Pirates. (Laith)
- We coloured regions in Canada that we are going to be studying this year. (Sawyer)
Reminders:
- Fun Lunch is Thursday
- Family Movie night Thursday evening (SOLD OUT)
- No school this Friday or next Monday
- We play outside every day - Dress for FUN :)
