Colby's last day

Dear Parents/Guardians of Grade 2 students,

As a result of the postponed field trip to Ralph Klein Park, the grade 2 team has decided to change the date of our Celebration of Learning evening from January 30^th to February 27^th. This will allow our students who have not attended the field trip the opportunity to attend on February 3^rd and 4^th and still be able share their learning from this unique experience. The trip was always intended to play a big role in our sharing during this evening and we want to ensure that every student has that opportunity.

We apologize if this has caused any inconvenience and look for to seeing you all from 6:30-7:30 on February 27^th.

The Grade 2 Team

Highlights from today:

• we finished our RKP art (Zoey S.)
• we learned about digraphs, which are two letters that make ONE sound (Chasity), such as ph makes a "F" sound like in phone (Avery)
• Mrs. Cose's class spent the day with Mrs. McDougall's room. We used charcoal for some RKP sketching (Zaeem)
• Mrs. Cose's class did the science experiment (see photos from Mrs. Seymour's class from other day)
