Tomorrow is Ugly Sweater Day! Feel free to wear a funky Christmas sweater :)
This week we're having a great time with some Christmas-themed literacy and math centres... we're still working on writing with description, word work, number concepts, patterning, and more! It's just all through a holiday-themed lens!
Yesterday we had a lockdown practice and even with substitute teachers, we did a pretty good job. We need to remember to be quiet for the whole time. We also had carolling for the first time yesterday and it was so fun!
Today we heard from the DMCS Jazz band... they were amazing!
A number of students in our classes have overdue library books. Please be sure to bring them back this week before the holiday break.
A hard copy of your child's report card was sent home yesterday. You are also able to access it in PowerSchool. If you would like a paper copy in June, please indicate so and send in the report card envelope with the attached page.
Reminder: this Thursday/Friday are conferences... please sign up if you haven't already! We'd love to see you :)
Please note that Thursday is a half-day (early dismissal at 11:45).
